Welcome to Ignite Robotics
Home of the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team 6829 from Suwanee, Georgia.
Here you can learn about our previous events, our former and current robots, and our team mission. The FIRST Robotics Competition is an international high school robotics competition that gives students real-world engineering and business development experience. Under strict rules, each team is challenged to raise funds, design (CAD), develop, build, and program a 120 lb robot (including electronics and control system components, metal fabrication and pneumatics) to perform assigned tasks against an international field of competitors.
Your support through donations will help sustain our team in addition to helping us keep team members’ cost low to ensure every student has the opportunity to participate.
Donating to our team not only helps us, but it also provides promotion for yourself and your company. Team 6829 is a relatively new team, but has an experienced group of students and dedicated mentors. We also have a large community presence as we attend many events in the Atlanta area and around Georgia all with our robot and banners promoting our sponsors.
Donating to the team does not always mean donating money. By creating good partnerships with our donors and sponsors, we can work together with businesses who may be able to donate items, such as building material, posters/signs, and supporting items.
All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law or IRS regulations.
To give a monetary donation, please use the secure Donate button provided by PayPal for “Gwinnett Robotics Inc”.
